Vineyards and Orchards

ROOTED IN THE CRAFT
Agents Who Actually
Farm Land
Northern Michigan vineyard and orchard real estate, represented by people who have actually owned & managed vineyards.
The right vineyard isn't sold from a spreadsheet. It's sold by someone who knows what frost does to bud break in May, who can read drainage on a slope, who can stand in a row of Pinot Noir and tell you whether what's planted is what will thrive here in ten years.
We are the only Northern Michigan real estate group whose principals have lived on, farmed, and worked the kind of properties we sell. Brad and Ted have lived on, farmed, and made their own wine from their vineyards on Old Mission Peninsula. Jacquelyn worked vineyards in Napa, Sonoma, and Bordeaux before bringing that experience home with her winemaker husband — who is available to consult as an expert advisor on vineyard properties the group represents.
Between the three of us, we have pruned in February, pulled leaves in July, and sorted fruit at midnight — and transacted more than 300 acres of vineyard and orchard property across Northern Michigan. That experience is the foundation of how we represent every property we touch.

Northern Michigan
wine country
Old Mission Peninsula and Leelanau Peninsula are two of the most distinctive cool-climate wine regions in the country. Our Rieslings, Pinot Noirs, and sparkling wines now sit on wine lists from Chicago to New York to Charleston. That rise is reshaping what vineyard and orchard properties up here are worth — and we watch the market closely because we know it from the inside.
Understanding true farm value
Buy & Sell Vineyard Properties
We help buyers and sellers evaluate vineyards and orchards through real production metrics—soil, climate, water, and operational potential—so decisions are grounded in how the land actually performs.
For Buyers
Buying a vineyard or orchard isn’t like buying a home. Value comes from the land — soil, water, vines, zoning, and real production potential.
We assess soil, drainage, microclimate, varietals, yields, and land-use rules, and run the numbers before any offer.
When needed, we bring in viticulturists, winemakers, orchard managers, and land-use attorneys to define what actually works for the buyer.
For sellers
Most agents list vineyards and orchards the way they list land— acreage, zoning, location. That's how producing properties get undervalued.
We price for the operating business, not just the dirt. We market through the channels vineyard and orchard buyers actually use, backed by a private network of winemakers, viticulturists, and a national client roster looking for properties exactly like yours.
